ESCALA VACATION/USA Terms and Conditions


Package Prices: All prices are per person, in US Dollars, and are subject to change, without notice, by currency fluctuation, hotels or airlines rates changes, or increase in operational costs, until ESCALA receives the total amount.


Airfare: The airfare for all packages is not guaranteed with regard to price or availability until paid in full. Times, flights and fares are based on current rates at time of ticketing. These may change without notice. Every effort will be made to obtain the best fares and schedule.

 

Exclusions: Prices do not include airfares unless otherwise stated, visa &passport costs, insurance, airport departure taxes, gratuities, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, telephone calls, other personal or incidental items or any other features not listed above.

 

Deposit: A deposit of US$150.00 per person is required to book any package. This deposit is non-refundable. It may be refundable for mayor causes such a hurricane, earth quarter and other naturals disaster in such the provider (such airlines and hotels) will not charge ESCALA.

 

Final Payment: Full payment is due 60 days prior to date of departure. All packages are subject to price and availability changes until paid in full.

 

Forms of Payment: Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted. Personal checks cannot be accepted 21 days or less prior to departure on restricted airfare. All returned checks are subject to a US$ 35.00 service charge.

 

Making a payment by credit card is subject to the following conditions:

* The credit card holder must be one of the passengers traveling

*If using a Travel Agent, the Travel Agent must have sighted the credit card and holds a signed authority for this transaction or the cardholders signature on file 

* The Travel Agent will be liable for any disputed amount arising from a dispute as a result of a credit card chargeback.

 

Revisions and Cancellations: In the event you need to change your travel plans after booking, certain restrictions may apply. Revision, cancellation and refund policies vary in accordance with hotels and airlines policies. In addition, we reserve the right to charge $50 as an administrative fee.

Carnival, New Year's and Other Special Dates and holidays: All amounts paid toward travel during these time periods are not refundable and not transferable. Other significant restrictions may apply depending on Hotel and Airline policies enforce at that time. Please inquire with your travel consultant at time of booking for details of these and other restrictions.

Refunds: Refunds of unused services, if applicable are subject to carrier tariff rules. In all cases, cancellation fees will apply. Unused purchased hotel and ground options may be refundable under certain circumstances beyond our control. All requests for refunds must be made in writing 30 days prior to of travel and must include any unused vouchers. Refund policies can vary by hotel and airline. Some departure dates may have special minimum stay and refund policies for reservations during certain peak travel times in addition to the normal policies. Other restrictions may apply. Please inquire at time of booking.

 

Travel Insurance: ESCALA VACATION  strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. Please inquire as to cost and coverage at time of booking.

 
Issuance of Tickets and Vouchers: All ticket and voucher issuances will be subject to prior approval and issuance by the airline or other supplier, as well as any other terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. Accordingly, Escala does not guarantee issuance of any ticket until confirmation is provided by the supplier. Within twenty-four (24) hours following payment from the User, and upon receipt of confirmation and issuance from the airline or other supplier, the User will receive email confirmation including reservation and voucher information.

Confirmation: It is important to confirm flights with the airline prior to departure. For domestic flights, 24 hours is recommended. For international flights, 72 hours is mandatory. Failure to confirm international flights or to use any portion of the reservation may result in automatic cancellation for all continuing and return flights.


Documents: A valid Passport will be required for international travel. which must be valid for  6 months beyond your intended stay. Depending on your nationality, some countries in North America, South America, Europe, Africa  and Asia may require a visa to be stamped into your passport. It is your responsibility at the time of booking time to know of any visa requirements and it is your responsibility to obtain all relevant entry, exit, health documentation. Passport, visa and health requirements are not our responsibility and we will not be liable for any loss or expense due to the failure to comply to the above.

 

Privacy Statement : ESCALA VACATIONS will not disclose or use personal information unless you have given your permission, except for the following purposes

*to keep you updated and informed about ESCALA VACATION and its services and this website

*if ESCALA VACATIONS is required to disclose such information by any applicable legal requirement or regulation 

*To help any provider to get paid for any extra charge made by the passenger

 

Responsibility: ESCALA VACATIONS CORP  acts only as an agent for the passenger and cannot be held responsible for services provided by airlines, hotels or any other supplier. ESCALA VACATIONS  can not be held liable for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical failures, climate conditions, criminal acts or any other condition outside  ESCALA VACATIONS  control.
